Cai
Hey im a new civic owner and was looking into installing a cai but i read that many of the cais for 7th gen civics get in the way of installing a front sway bar i was wondering if anyone any any particular brands of cais/front sway bars that would avoid this issue?
I have a 2001 civic coupe i think its the ex(american) but im not sure I live in Canada and here they call it the si also it has manual tranny.

Re: Cai
well first of all it doesnt matter what kind of cai intake you get. they all do the same thing. little to no gain but a louder car.. haha..
as for the front sway bar in wont hit you car cause its on the bottom of the car.
i think your talking about the front strut bar. anywho the only 2 bars i can think of that wont hit your cold air intake is either a dc sports or nuespeed strut bar.

Re: Cai
People have gotten other strut bars to fit with out hitting the CAI.. it depends on what kind of intake you get of course, and which bar... for instance, the v2 is huge and comes up high, where as a secret weapon has a ratchet type connection that no bar will interfear with
Re: Cai
Firstly thanks for the info on the strut bars and thanks for correcting me!
well ive heard that they can increase gas mileage and after this i was looking into installing a new exhaust system to comp the cai later. Im new to tuning so i figured it wasnt the best of ideas to go and try to install a turbo right off the bat not to mention that with said turbo you would need $$$ gas
