D17A2 Research Wiki
D17A2 Research Wiki
I started a wiki for the D17A2 off of the Honda D-series listing. I hope everyone can help expand it with reputable information to help speed up the tuning / modification process and or lower the cost of bigger hp/tq #'s. Its super basic right now, please help expand it. Thanks in advance ere'body.

Re: D17A2 Research Wiki
wiki deleted the page in less than 3 hrs. Im going to recreate it and site some of the basics. If this is bad for business, someone say something before I spend more time on this. Not trying to step on anyone's toes or whatevers. Re: D17A2 Research Wiki
ok, rewrote the whole entry. If anyone happens to have a bunch of technical manuals, wikipedia experience, and a bunch of time to kill, please expand the entry.
This is the first wiki ive written, so my bad if its not all pretty and exciting and stuff. If a moderator could let me know what the rules are as far as referencing / citing civicforums information, or using the civicforums.com name in a link is, id appreciate it.
Im wanting to post basic stuff first, like fluid types, quantities, etc for now. Until I can figure out a safe / agreeable way to post information on part/fluid alternatives, hacks, mods, etc... im going to stick to published factory specs and procedures. Unless I get sued like PGMFI.org I guess the whole "live and let live" concept doesn't apply in the business arena.
Anyone have suggestions on material to add? I hope if the page gets more edits by other people, the spam-bots wont axe the entry again. If something is wrong, either fix it on the page, or shoot me a correction and ill take care of it.
Over n outie.

Re: D17A2 Research Wiki
This editor guy flagged the page as a "how-to" guide, which is basically game over. So I rewrote the whole thing, quoted a bunch of specs, etc...and it was still a how-to guide, in his opinion.
Oh well, ya know? People who do negative work make me feel all sunshiny
To Mr. Editorperson, wherevers you are, cheers

Re: D17A2 Research Wiki
Why dont you just start your thing here (as best you can- create a thread, and from everyones posts edit the information yourself)... and then once it gets moved along most of the way, post it on wiki so it doesnt look like some amature junk, but a polished piece and we'll all cross our fingers and hope it doesnt get flushed.
