Rep Power: 0 2012 Civic LX Heater noise problem(Please, help me)
Hi guys,
I need some advice from you guys... This morning I had heard some a squeaky sound from the passenger seat side when I turned on the heater
and it still makes very annoying noise something like something idling?
The good news is warm wind is still coming out... but wind strength is weaker than before..
I think the blower heater has something to do with it.
What do you think about it guys? I recorded this noise from the heater.
<---here is the link
and sorry for my bad English

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I can't tell anything from the video, but my laptop isn't great for sound either.
Check cabin filter for dirt/debris, blockage, or maybe a rodent chewed through it. If you find holes in the filter, trash is probably stuck in the fan blade. Clean it out, replace filter, and retest.
If fan motor itself is making noise, you can replace it (light chirp or squeak noise is a common complaint).

Thank you for your advice. I already cleaned cabin filter. There was pretty much dust and broken leaves but nothing changed and I tried to listen to where this sound is coming out from then I found out that it's coming out from the blower motor
I am gonna check it out after work today. Thank you so much for your advice again!

I am going to spray a little bit wd-40 on the blower motor after cleaning... maybe it helps to reduce noise...

Rep Power: 0 (2012 Civic Lx)Blower motor!! idk how to part out this one
Hi guys,
I am trying to separate my blower motor to clean it so I checked several youtube videos about how to do it.
It seems pretty easy in videos!! but my blower heater doesn't look like theirs!! It looks more complicated
I did loosen three screws from the motor which color is silver just like what I saw in videos but it doesn't come out ...
Do you guys have any idea how to do it? I only see videos with older models than mine in youtube(2012 honda civic lx)
