hi,

I have a 2005 Civic EX and was just wondering when I stop for short time (let say to pick up mail) and as soon as I drive again, I could hear some hissing/fan blower noise from the engine compartment...sounds like if the system initializing or something like that..does anyone ever hear the same thing? The noise disappears when I drive and it will re-appear when I do the same thing (stop for short time and drive)

I have a hissing sound when my AC is on and I accelerate or Rev, its funny but it kinda sounds like a turbo hissing :-p

Its only when the AC is on ...

Mine does it too.. It never did it, until I put in a CAI.. Do you guys have CAI's?

I have an AEM V2 intake. But i remember that my car makes that sound since i bought it .. It was STOCK. ... The hissing sound of the CAI is different. That hiss is only heard when u turn ur car off ... Its kool though ... But the AC sound im talkin about. Are you guys sure your having the same problem as mine ??? Like its only heard when u turn on the AC ?
