A week or so ago it got down to single digits and my windshield fluid froze up. No big deal I figure I would wait. Well I put it in the garage and thought I drained out all the old fluid and refilled it with new. Well I guess I did not get it all out because right after I refilled it it quit working. Its been above freezing for over a week now and one day it was near 50 with it being in the 40s every other day. When I try to use it I can hear the pump running but still nothing out. Is it possible to still be frozen still? I was going to take it out and look at the resivoir but apparently honda likes to bury them. I have an 06 civic ex. Any help would be great.

The washer system is pretty basic. With the bumper off, you have full access to it. Trace the lines and make sure non of them disconnected when they froze.

I can do that but that does not really seem logical since they worked til I flushed them then once I added it and tried squirting them again(less than 2 min) it didnt work. When it was coming out it was not at full stream at any of the time

is anything leaking on the ground? its possible you broke the pump when fluid was inside it and expanded while freezing. take off the hoses from the washer nozzles and then run the motor again. see if anything squirts out (hold the tubes away from the car, if its working, fluid will GUSH out). in which case, replace the nozzles since they are clogged.

But how do you get to the nozzles? Do you take the black piece off that is between the hood and the windshield? How does it come off? is it held in by clips or what? Also where is the washer motor located? is it buried like the reservoir?

the nozzles do not even have to come off the car to test, just pull out the hoses. but the nozzles just pop out by squeezing the sides to release the tabs (from under the hood). washer motor is attached to the fluid tank on the outside.

Re: windshield washer problems
Those are two separate sticks on the steering wheel column thing, not sure how connections would cross like that. Headlights=left windshield wiper stick on right
BTW @OP, use rain-x 2 in 1 -25 F windshield washer fluid
