i doubt you will get more than 1mpg if even that. its mainly designed for weak hybrid engines that do not see very harsh conditions. i would recommend going to a 5w20 tho if you have a hybrid and run it hard or drive in hot weather 80F+
for a regular civic, i would actually suggest going to 5w30. the thinner the oil, the more it will fall apart at higher temps and cause excessive wear on the motor. also being as thin as it is, you will be dry starting the motor every day since most of the oil will have fallen off into the pan.
