Yes, I did all that and I usually go buy a book for all my cars but there is no Haynes book for my car. Otherwise I wouldn't be asking here what the exact amount in the book says. Anyway...
I found Amsoil's website to have the info copied and states Automatic Transmission, BRZA Initial Fill..........2.5 quarts
I know it will vary but I wanted the correct # for knowledge.
Also, I don't really care to go by how much fluid comes out because I'm not the one who did the service last time. The Honda dealer supposedly did it but its the same people who left the coolant surge tank bone dry. So why would I trust them? Thanks

Just did mine for first time. I would advise checking level prior to, and if it’s good, measure how much you drain. Point being, there can be variables to how much you drain. In my case, I was just in my garage using a floor jack. Based on the drain plug location, I couldn’t jack front center and still place drain pain pan in the right spot. So I jacked driver side which tilted car towards drain hole and letting more fluid out. Took right at 4 qts all said and done
