Check engine light

I have a civic 07 lx and the check engine line came up. The code they gave me p0848 for 3rd clutch transmission fluid switch. Where is it located and do i access it from the bottom or top of the car? Also is it an immediate concern? Thanks. First time forum user.

Here's a good one, looking up from under the front, splash shields removed

Re: Check engine light

The switch tells the computer that the trans did, in fact, receive fluid pressure to that gear and the shift should have occurred at that time.
The switches can fail completely but I usually see them as making intermittent contact faults. Either failure is a bad switch.

If the switch is bad, it needs replaced.
But if the wiring has been eaten by a rodent, it needs repaired.
I see a lot of chewed wiring in my area in addition to the switch failures.
