Front Grill Europe Conversion

Has anyone attempted to convert the American Civic front grill to the clear grill that the Britts use? I have been researching but there is just not much info on a conversion like this.

UKDM parts cost an absolute fortune and are extremely rare, which is why finding parts is probably proving difficult.
