Well guys, i know this has been covered many times, but i got a little problem and thought maybe yall could help. I did the gauges and i had a couple problems.
1. First my gauges dont light up consistantly. When i turn on my lights it may or may not come on. I think its the black grounding wire thats causing me trouble. Is there any other place to ground it other than the bolt that is in the DIY? Would maybe getting a new screw at a hardware store help?
2. I find that my mph gauge is a bit sluggish, its not as precise as it was before the gauges were put on. I did tape them down, so i dunno any ideas guys?
Thanks

Just make sure all the connections are secure. May even wanna solder the wiring together. I've never had a problem with the screw I used for the ground so that shouldnt be the problem. Of course, if you can find another screw/bolt thats metal on metal, you can definitely try that. If all that fails, the problem could be the inverter.
How is the speedo sluggish? Does it just go up real slow? Just at certain points? Is it accurate? (have a buddy rolling next to you to and match speeds) I would say first thing you might wanna try is move the needle with your finger and see if there's any spots that are still rubbing.
HTH.

for my gauges it switch color on me and flashes on and off... i dont know why but on certain setting it doesn do it so i just left it at that setting and disconnect the switch
as for the needle, my mph needle gets stuck, i tape it down and everything and still get stuck at certain points. What i found was underneath the needle, there is small ring and came loose so i use my credit card and pushed it down and the needle never got stucked again
