Help...CAR problems...expired warrenty!

Hey Guys,

Need your help here on diagnosing a problem my 2001 civic EX M/T is having.

As I am driving the car turns off and then back on constantly. I do not loose my radio stations or time that is programmed in.

However, the key light on the gauge pannel flashes green, telling me don't forget to take your key out.

Any legitimate suggestions....serious techs only reply or pm me.

Thanks!,
Kev

sounds like a ecu is flipping out. do you have anything done to the car that would effect it like.. a v-afc or afc etc? Honda may fix it for free they build in a clause for stuff like this into there warranties. Rather than do a recall they just fix the car when ppl bring it in. Makes it look like they produce superior cars.

i think PatrickB is right, your re-programmed ecu might have something to do with it. if thats the case, honda definately wont fix it for free.
