srs light

my car got flooded 2 months ago so i took out the seats and removed the carpet to dry it out now my srs light wont cut off and i dont wanna take it to honda cuzz i will be outta a ride what do i do??

Check and see if the connector is plugged in?
That would be the first thing I would try. Maybe the water messed it up. I don't see why a 1/2 hour trip to Honda would hurt so much, but whatever...

Have you reset your srs light? I think once it's "tripped" it has to be reset. If whatever "tripped" it in the first place is ok now... resetting your SRS light should do the trick.

Try to reset the light yourself using the DIY becuase if you take it to Honda they will most likely make you leave it there all day becuase they have to run a ton of codes into it to figure out what set it off, so it would be easier and faster for you just to try it yourself, and if it keeps comming back on then you should take it to the dealership and have them take a look at it.

i checked all the yellow plugs and fuses that go to the air bags so now ima try to reset it......

Mine came on when I had the seat out and I started the car. So I brought it to Honda and it took about 5 min. to reset at no charge. Just tell them you had the seat unplugged and the light came on and you need it shut off. They should help you.
