LED Bulbs
LED Bulbs
Basically I'm wondering if LED bulbs are replacable on most applications. I have a BLUE LED M3 Mirrors and I want to replace the LEDs with white ones. I've heard that you need to solder in order to get them in, but I've also heard they simply pop in and pop out. Can anyone give me some insight on this? And also, if anyone has removed the lens on their m3 mirrors, do those just POP out? How careful do I need to be?

If they're actually LED bulbs then they should be easily swappable. That is if they're like these: Click Me
If they're just regular LED's then you'll have to be careful. Measure the resistance of the LED with a multimeter and get another LED with a similar resistence. If you don't have one, then you'll have to match the resistence with a resistor in series with the LED. Besides that, I don't know what to say 'cause I've never seen the M3 mirrors personally.

Speaking of LED bulbs...I lost the link to the "Load balancer" device that you put into the whole headlight circuit, so that your LED bulbs stop making everything flash spastically...
Can anyone tell me who has this? (Besides that one engineering company...their website seemed a bit strange).
Thanks!
