I remember that was a big issue with the 2001 models. People got it fixed, but rocking came back after a while. I didn't know there was an official TSB, probably recent. Now I got to go and check with the "good will" of the dealership.

Yep, mine rocks. I just looked up the TSB and grabbed the part #'s. I'd rather install the bushings myself than let the morons at the dealership screw up my car.

Da da da da da...whoops, hopefully the customer won't notice that I put a foot long gouge in the body from the seat rail. ZZZZZZZTTT, good to go, seat bolts are torqued to 150lbs, this seat will never come loose... SLAM...I didn't realize this guy's exhaust would ever hit the curb, oh well he'll never notice.

I do not like bringing my car to the dealership. Only when I absolutely have to and then I watch their every move.

Call me ****, but at least my car hasn't been damaged...Yet!

Mine doesn't rock. Which way does it rock in your car? Back and forth or side to side?

Search, this is a common problem and has been posted in Vehicle Issues forum many times. The problem is only with ex models because of the height adjust mechanism. The dealer can fix it under warranty, sometimes it takes them a few tries though.

hey i am like that too! not many people know how to drive stick so i get worked up when i let someone else try and move my car. im 18 and i dont even let my step dad move my car in the garage! hey my civic is a baby, only 4 months. plus my step dad cant drive stick if a shift **** hit him in the face i hate even like to let people in vallet park my car.

otherwise, no my 02 sedan seats don't rock back and forth but they do clunk when brake hard like mohawk said.

I got an '02 and it rocks!! Literally. I remembered a lot of people saying that it was fixed with the '02 models, but it definitely isn't. Its not really a problem just gets annoying every now and then.
