How do you get a c f hood to lock down when closed?

Usually hood pins. Some hoods allow you to put your factory latch on too.

Beat me to it, you should be able to tell bny looking at the hood itself how it latches but if were you i would use the latch if possible and hood pins as well they arent expensive and require no drilling in the chasis

It has a latch, but it won't close all the way.

i had the same problem when i purchased mine the thing you need to do is loosing the bolts on the latch and then move the latch all the way up. tighten the bolts shut your hood. everything will fall in place
