SRS

Is this just the light or does it mean my airbags are out of service.

I had to get it reset by my dealership, they said it was cuz I used my cell phone in the car, it interfered with the SRS system and caused some problems, no biggie if that is all it is.

Bring it down, they should do it for free, it's all under warrenty.

If you disconnected the harness under the driver's seat, it needs to be reconnected and then taken to the dealership. They will reset the SRS light. This is a beaten topic, try searching or the forum ***** will chew your **** out! Your airbags are fine.

check the diy on how to reset the light yourself, and all you need is a paper clip to do it. and someone to count the flashes.

lol, your cell doesn't do jack, did they charge to reset it? sometimes it just takes a slight seat movement to throw something out of whack...

Like huyqvu said don't take it to the dealer. Check the DIY section it should be there. I took mine to the dealer and they charge me $60 then I found out that you can do it your self.

Good luck.

damn, your dealerships are *****, it's part of the warranty, instead of sticking little paper clips in holes I brought it down there for FREE, took about 20 minutes
