TYC Projectors, and wiring harness. NO PW!!

I saw the old treads about this but there is really no clear answer as to why the bulbs keep burning out in the projectors.
It's not the fuzes. and I am NOT touching the glass.

So here are my questions.(no PW pleaze)

1) Why in the hell are the bulbs blowing!!!
2) Has my wiring harness gone bad? (the OEM one not the projector harness)
3) How hard is it to put a new one on?
4) Why did the harness go bad?

Thanks guys, need some answers quick. Hope i don't to make a trip down to AutoDynamic and get a new harness, looks like it though.

Questions 3 and 4 assume that question 1 is right. I don't think it's the harness. Do you use the same bulbs as the stock headlamps? I don't have projectors but if it's a diff. bulb then maybe that's the problem. I know the PIAA hyperwhites blow like every 3 weeks on our cars. Just a thought (not PWing)

Same here. I had my projectors in less than a week and one of the bulbs are after blowing already.

I have TYC's and I have no problems at all. Are you guys using hyperwhites? They supposably heat
up much faster in the projectors and blow out really quick.

i have TYC projectors with the bulbs they came with, and i've had no problems at all with them blowing out (i've had the lights for about 5 months or so). i think the problem is using HyperWhite [or XtremeWhite, etc] bulbs because in the small area of the projector they overheat too easily. it seems to make sense.
