headlight question

how do i go about making it so that when i turn my headlights on, only the headlights come on and not the parking lights?

change the blinker bulb to a 7440. as far as the parking light not going on...just take the bulb out if you dont want it lighting up.

check out this thread on changing the lightbulb to 7440...its kinda tricky. Linkdafied

mine went right in...no modification necessary...that's weird what that one dude had to do...oh well

The parking bulb and the turning signal bulb are not one in the same.

yeah, that dude was me. hehe
maybe the blinker housing/socket is different on coupes and sedans. i just know the 7440 didnt just "clip in" like the 7443 does. i was afraid it was gonna fall out in the housing.

ironcow - id play it safe and just take out the bulb or leave the bulb in and unplug the wire to it if you dont want to leave the housing looking weird and empty. but i wouldnt go and start playing around with the electrical system to try and make this work. you could really fawk your **** up.
