well i have some neons that im planning to put inside of my car.. underdash . i tried to hardwire neons to the acce, plug, but it didnt work, theres transformer on the acc, plug that was connected with neon.
whats the best way to hook up neons like that?

get a transformer from something else and hook it up that way... i have an extra one but i dont want to bother shipping so sorry
Run it to the fuse box underneath the driver side. Pick a larger fuse so it can handle the power and make sure its not an important fuse, cause if its important and it blows then.....well you get the idea. Happy modding[IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG]

it isnt too good to put it in the fuse directly and he said theres a transformer inside the plug so he's still stuck with that... Quote

The easiest way to hook up neons in a car is to hard wire them to your battery and put a switch in to control it. Here is a small wiring diagram from you.

actually easiest way is to wire it to the cig lighter, dont have to worry about running the wire through the firewall... well unless if you have an underbody then ya the battery would be best
Their is a hole that is very accessible on the passenger side under the carpet. All you do is take out the black kick gaurd under the dash and pull the carpet back and run your wire thru.
try to get a neon with the transformer inside the neon.. and not in the cig lighter.. i bought mines at Walmart.. 10 bux for 10 inches.. any color.. and they also blink to the beat or can stay on.. they are pretty bright too!!..
just watch out and make sure u test them before u start cuttin stuff up.. cuz i mean 10 bux a pop is pretty cheap.. i had 2 duds in the proccess of buyin my 4
