Help, removing/replacing bulbs in projector headlamps
for the low beams:
remove the rubber casing, and if you look carefully there is a little clip holding the bulb in place
push in and then up to unlatch the clip.
shimmy the bulb out of the socket and unplug the wire....
BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE BULB ITSELF
replace with the new bulb and plug into the headlamp...make sure it fits snugly or it wont shine correctly.
once it is in clamp it in place and put the rubber cap back on the light
for the high beams:
i have no idea

lol, thanks iron cow, hopefully its the same , when u replaced ur lows, did u have to remove the bumper? Do u have a metal like rod up against ur rubber part for your low beam on the driver side?
yes... and no i didnt remove the bumber although it probly would help...
any way, if you look up and down the metal bar ull see that there are two clips snap them out...
and the power steering fluid container can be lifted out of its locked position by sliding it out of place and pushed to the side
this will give you a little more room, just suck up the pain and go after it... that worked for me

i'm not worried about pain, i just dont wanna break anything, and i wasnt sure how to go about getting behind the headlamp withou tearing my whole front end off, and i emailed the people i got the headlamps from and they said i need a h1 for the highbeam which is a foglamp bulb? got me?
yeah i got you...you shouldnt break anything
i didnt at lease, and i dont know that much about installing things...
as long as you can get the front left one in the easier one...the other one should be fine
