I just picked up some strobes from APC at a car show for 25 bucks. I'm in the process of searching for some DIYs on how to wire them. They came with a switch and in 6 different colors. Check out www.4apc.net

Also try Streetglow.

You are at least going to have to drill holes in your headlight/taillight housings if you want them to light up from the inside.

You're going to have to drill the holes if you want decent strobes like Whelens.

Sho-Me strobes are made by Nova, Inc. which is also a very reputable company. As far as emergency grade hide-a-way strobes the Whelen, Sho-Me/Nova and Federal Signal are all comparable. I don't really like the Code 3 products.

I agree, I think that Code 3 are not worth the money. Here is just a little FYI fact. Federal Signal owns E-One (Emergency One) They make fire trucks and are located in Ocala, FL.

i just got some $10 strobes from autozone and put them in the small hole for the parking lights... they also come with sleeves to change color and they also have a little module to control the speed... no need to drill holes.
