To anyone with aftermarket Alarm
I bought the Matrix3 from Clifford and it works great but i dont drive my car that often and when i do its not far distances at all but anyway i had a backup battery for tha alarm installed just in case someone disconnects the primary battery but i go out to my car to start it up after about 2wks..i was on vacation and it wont start i mean i get nothing no radio no lights the OEM keyless entry doesnt work either so is this battery taking up that much juice? Should i disarm tha alarm when its in the garage?

Woa, that is extremely wierd.
And it does this often, or was it just the 1 time??
Cause you might have left a light on or somehting.
I have a back-up battery by clifford, It drains absoloutley no juice from the battery only unless
your battery is disconnected and the the back up battery goes off.
It still has nothing to do w/ the oem stock battery.......
take it back to the installer. ask them what the hell is goin on.
cause that isn't right.

I leave it on all the time like it was designed to do but i think the alarm is draining the juice out of the battery..ima talk to Honda about it when i get my AEM brake upgrade and my Rims and see what they have to say

There is no reason any kind od a alarm would drain a battery.........
I have mine on all the time also......no biggie.........
my battry has NEVER died, even after a week.......
