Rep Power: 395 Nothing on this site.
This is the only thing I found: SUPERTUNED CIVICS
Read what it says about AEM's Civic. They mention +10hp with AEM's Cold Air Induction System and AEM's Tru-Power Underdrive Pulleys. We know that AEM's CAI gives us about 6 horsies. That would mean that their pulleys give us about 4 I guess?

Rep Power: 0 how can AEM's give u 6 hp, when a intake/header/catback comb, only gives u 5? I dont think aem found a way to make 5 more with a intake alone than Injen, DC Sports, etc.

Rep Power: 395 According to Injen, AEM's CAI produced an increase of 3hp. Check it: stock aem injen Here is what AEM says: aem Here are their dyno testing procedures. Now, AEM claims an increase of 8hp. I say let's average the two to see the true gains. 8 + 3 = 11, 11/2 = 5.5 I guess that's why I said 6hp. Although Injen's figure might be the correct one?

Rep Power: 0 i noticed the surge at 3250rpm, is that the VTEC, or is that to low of an engine speed for VTEC. Also, it looks like the injen intake has slightly better results, though, only marginal.

Rep Power: 0 You get two pulleys! One is for the power steering which slows the pumpdown hich frees up extra horses from the motor having to run the pump! Also you get a alternator pulley which slows down the spinning of the alternator which also robs power from your motor! I mean you could probably free up atleast 5 hoses from this mod! but i have burned up my alternator or voltage regualtor doing this mod with a 1200 watt stereo system! Also is a mod that you should do if you use the Air conditioning alot!

Rep Power: 0 To get the factory pullies off, are the bolts fitted with reverse treads? I dont know which way to loosen the bolt without it breaking. You cant be too cautious cuz a new power-steering pump could get expensive.

Rep Power: 0 No they arent reverse thread! the power steering pump pully will come off with just a wrench! But you must use a impact gun on the alternhator pulley as it is not possible to get off otherwise! You must pull the alternator completely out of the engine bay! Also when you go to disconnect the hot lead wire from the side of the alternator use a 10mm wrench to hold the lower nut under the wire as you take loose the upper nut! if you dont do this it could snap off the post that the wire is connected to! Failure to do this will end up cost 385$ for a new alternator! Dakota
