? about AEM pullies

Just wondering. I want to get the AEM power pullies for my 02 lx. I'm running 2 12" Cerwin Veggas with an Alpine V12 amp. Big bass. Will i have problems with my stereo if i get the AEM pullies? What does the set come with, 2pullies and a new belt?

hummm, can i ask u why u wanna get pullies?? performance, look??
well if its for performance, i think taking out ur sound system would gain more power then pullies because of the weight. AEM only comes with a set of 2 pullies but does not include the more useful crank pulley. deffinatly not worth the money, u are goin u run in to troubles like less energy runing through the car which supply less electicity to ur system and i heard install is a bitch

Well it's for a little bit of both actually. I take my system out when i race but i want to run low 16s with my sedan. I know that if i get the UR crank pulley i'll run a high 15 for sure, but that will totally screw up my car i hear. So i thought that i could get away with just the AEM pullies. I'm just not sure what will happen when i'm running my stereo.

It's a sacrafice you have to make. Performance or Show/Sound? MacFay is running a stock audio system (I think) and he said sometimes his lights will dim. With all the stuff you're running, you might drain your battery real quick.

Yeah, it comes with the power steerinig and altenator pulley and two belts. I have them on my car, but I do not have any ice so it doesn't effect the power. I feel more high end powere with them on.

I have a 10" sub and a 600w amp... I went to JRP to get my pullies installed too but I remembered that the pully and ICE setup might not work together. How much did they quote you for the pullies and install?

pullies are quite expensive to install. Paid approx 150 for install. Almost as much as the pullies itself.
