Anyone know how much an RSX swap ........

does any one know how much it'll run to swap a 2001 or 2002 RSX engine into a lx auto sedan i want more power badly but i dont want to drop the worth of the car into the car. all i want is accelleration if any one has any ideas on how to boost accelleration cheap and easy. please let me know. i just got into another accident so i dont really have that much money. our cars are so cheap. nice chassis though.

No there is no easy way to get acceleration. Actually there is, trade in this car and get a faster one. As far as how much one would cost, hmmm I'm throwing out around $8000 maybe even more.

I have the same exact car and model. I was quoted $7000 with motor and labor, 10,000 with turbo. I figured it will take me about 2 years till I am able to get it. Unless your rollin in cash, start to save up.
