like when you tap your gas pedal,you accellerate a little quicker. the factory setting is for those granny drivers, so they dont accidently rear end other cars. hope that helps.

sup guys i too have a ? about the throttle cable....where exactly is the throttle cable and what do you exactly do to adjust it...i have basically everything on my car myself and i want to do this as well i just need to find out exactly what to do...can one of you that has done the throttle cable adjustment specify a little more than the DIY or is that exactly how ur supposed to do it??? like the DIY says??? help me out thanks

Look right next to the throttle body- you'll see the metal lever that pushes the throttle up when the line is pulled. Just get an adjustable wrench and tighten it so the lever is flush with the throttle. Do do it too much or you'll idle high.

I still don't see what the point is. If you have an automatic, fine it makes sense, but a manual??[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] why bother

Don't waste your time adjusting it, it won't make a difference....maybe in your mind it will, but it doesn't make a real difference. Now if you REALLY want increased performance, slap on some stickers baby!!!
