Taking out THE TAXOMETERS!
YEs tax.
Anyone know which screws to unscrew when removing the gauges on a dx. I only took out two screws which were located above the ceiling of the meters. Then I tried to remove the casing but it seemed like there were more screws to undo.

oh okay, i just didn't know what you meant by the TAXometer. you just need to take the screws out that you already took out and then just pull real hard until it pops out. good luck.
UH what's a taxometer? I know what a tachometer is and the DX doesn't have one of those. But I think you are talking about the gauge besel. Take out the 2 screws that you mentioned and then you have to pull on the bottom cuz there are 2 clips there just pull REALLY had then it should just pop out.
Once you have taken out the two upper screws, you have to pull the gauge cluster out, it has two clips at the bottom, give it a strong pull, but carefull, you can break it...once you do that, take out the three screws that holds the cluster in place, then take care of the two plugs on top of the cluster......I also have a DX, and I have an EX gauge cluster on my civic...
it works perfectly...and looks great compared to the DX unit...I did cover the ABS light so it won't show up, since non-EX cars, don't have ABS, if you put an EX cluster, the LED will be on everytime
...If you get an LX cluster, you won't have to worry about.
