Grinding noise under front passenger seats?
Latel I've been hearing and feeling some sort of grinding under the front passenger section of my car. At first I though it was the clamps on my downpipe of my exhaust but it is nowhere near the floor. I hear it when ever I turn, brake, and sometimes under normal driving. Does anybody know what this could be? I have a feeling its probably my springs, but what could cause it. I've had my springs for about 4 months now and the problem just started. Any suggestions, the grinding noise is really starting to get to me.
Thanks

STLVTec you have a cv shaft that is bad, i had this same problem with my 00' Si and it took FOREVER to finally find it, I actually just found it two days ago. clicking is gone and car holds a STRAIGHT LINE!!!!!!

i have the same clicking sound when i turn right!!! how weird is that?!?! i thought it was the cv joint also but when i took it to the dealership those jerks told me to put my car back to stock and they'll look at it.. then some idiot said it was my springs and i've had the noise longer than the springs.
I have the noise too, but just started after i got the magnaflow catback exhaust...everytime i turn right it sounds like something is rubbing under the car...what's going on???...
oh yeah, when its raing i hear it all the time...what is it??

I'm check at the dealership when I get my next oil change. I have a magnaflow too and thought it was clmps scraping the floor, but one time in the rain i was stopped and the noise keep rataling so I turned off the car and it stopped but it kept on going when I turned the car back on. I'll see what they tell me.
CV's on a 2 year old car?
My girlfriend had the same problem....... on her 1989 Nissan Sentra with 200K miles on it.
b00st, remember the dealer has to prove that you're mod caused the problem. I can't beleive they wouldn't even look at it. Take it back and raise hell.

if you turn your steering wheel all the way to the left, you should be able to tell whether your right CV joint is ripped or cracked... Had the same problem on my 90 Accord. Very annoying.

1.) the cv joints may be the problem on some of your cars.... 2.) some of you others may have your magnaflow exhaust vibrating against the heat shield under the front seat...just bang the heat shield w/ a hammer so it wont vibrate against it that is what my skunk2 exhaust did at first....
