**** them. No matter how much you pay, they still suck after a few weeks of harsh weather. Just buy the cheapest you can get in my opinion. And buying a whole new assembly is so absurd because it's not like you ever have to replace a metal wiper, it's only the rubber that needs replacing. Maybe I can buy like 10 inserts for my crap michelin wipers and store them in the car.

Another gay thing is how the wind shield wipers, when in the down position, still lay on the windshield. This causes the rubber to become deformed. If it were an intelligent design, the wiper would rise up smoothly onto a riser.

i bought the expensive neoform bow style design and i love them ive had them for a year now and there as good as the day i purchased them they make no noise and wipe evenly . you do know you have to clean them for them to work properly rite you don't just constantly use them without wiping them down often especially in winter conditions and the windshield.

I just use original refills in my stock frames and clean often.

I use simple green and 95% isopropyl alcohol to clean.

They last about a year maybe more never really kept track.

You will be suprised at how much dirt comes off each time.

i had a set of micheline flexy ones the expensive ones that i had on for a year and change and worked like a charm. beat the hell out of them in the summer here in florida. froze the **** out of them in the winters in virginia and they were abused by the sun all the times in between. Use rain-x. lots and lots of rain-x keeping your windshield clean goes a long way since the leading cause of wiper death is debris stuck under the rubber and baking from the sun. I wipe them down with an armorall or something and keep the window clean son

Good advice all around but I tried cleaning them and they didn't improve. They are only a couple months old. Maybe I will put a thin film of oil on them. One day, I will try the flat wipers too.

^yea they are called beam style blades...they work TONNNNNNNNNS better than those regular ones.

the bosch evo (evolution) blade is awesome...and cheap....and its a beam (its basically the same as the bosch icons)

Yeah I'm getting tired of my metal Rain-X brand wipers... they're always leaving streaks and making fart noises on my windshield

the fart noises are useful though, i had those metal blades in and I had terrible gas and I had a girl in the car so I would time my flatulence with the wipers.
