Advice Please

should i trade my 01 civic lx 5sp with 212,000 miles many dents and scratches.. around 115 hp, needs all new suspension soon. needs a hood fender and bumper. also burns a little oil.
should i trade for a 92 civic cx (with vx engine) around 90 hp
the body is in excellent condition for a 92 civic. new ecu. needs tires for 17" rims but will wait till after winter, because i have a set that will work. the 1992 has 144,000... the only thing im not sure about is the bubbling sound in the radiator.. i didnt ask the guy if he replaced the water pump but otherwise i might have to replace the head gasket... what do you think? what should i do?
look at my spark plugs
the guy has a full bodykit but not on in the pics (there new)

Re: Advice Please

Sounds like toooo much work.... fix up what you have. Now if someone can help with with my issue regarding my radio/stereo. I have a 1999 Honda Civic SI and had some work done on it and the battery was unhooked and the code was lost on the stereo. Honda wants $100 to rip out the stereo to get the serial # and then the code. I don't have any code and I've had the car since it was new. The dealer has my name on file, but no code for my stereo. I've tried the 1-6 buttons, simulataneously while turning on the radio and nothing. Drives me crazy, and I am not working at the moment.
Oh and my Honda burns a little oil now too, and so did the one I had prior to that. I think it's a trend with Honda's once they start to get a little older. That said I've really only done minor maintenance on my Civic. It's got the original battery, exhaust, and really owes me NOTHING... will probably never buy another make or model. I have 171,000k on the car and it will be 11 years old in march. Anyone can help???

Re: Advice Please

just take the radio out yourself and get the code on the back some dealers will give for free over the phone.
