LOL - yep. There's a DIY here on the site for it by me as well. I know it's not the first one done by a member here, but I'm kind of partial to it...
Re: DIY StrutKing MT Shifter Cable Bushings Install
i got a pair of these but from corsportusa.com i actually got them by a mistake lol but i never installed them because i was to lazy to remove the k&n fipk2 heat sheild which blocks the tranny

Shifter bushings go under the shifter itself to reduce the play. The cable bushings go under the hood on the cables to reduce the cable play.

The shifter bushings for $25 replace the rubber bushings that hold the shifter assembly to the car inside the passenger compartment. The shift cable bushings are the ones in this DIY that go on the tranny.

I have the ones from Corsport and I like them, only difference is the corsport ones are one solid piece for each of the two bushings. I have to admit these look a bit easier to install because of their two piece design.
Re: DIY StrutKing MT Shifter Cable Bushings Install
I asked Kevin about the two piece design and he said they do it because it is easier to install. Corsport makes the one piece because it is cheaper to produce. Nice writeup foos. I just ordered my shifter bushings, cable bushing, and pedals from kevin the other day. Can't wait for it to get here.

How do the Corsport ones fit then? If Kevin's were a one piece design, you'd never be able to get them into the shifter cable ends.
Yeah, I'm really happy with everything I've gotten from Kevin so far too (both bushings and pedals). He runs a nice little business.
