How do I replace this???

On the picture above. Replacing this unit, is this something that I could do myself or would I have to take it to a professional? Item number 12 on the picture is broken in my 02 EX on both sides and I'd like to know if I can replace it. Thanks
I don't know how much it would cost you, as I did mine myself. If you get your control arm out, just take it and the new bushings to a shop to have them pressed. Cheaper than taking it to a shop to have them do it all.
Was it difficult to take out? Because I see that the brake rotor, caliper, struts and I dont know what else needs to be removed. I did my brake rotor and pads install myself, as well as putting my car back to stock height too. I guess from having my car lowered and hitting bumps that the bushings gave out.
Yeah, I made a similar bench hand press and it only took about 20 minutes to replace each once off the car.
BTW, the local dealership screwed up my order when I got mine and I have an extra set of OEM bushings still in the plastic if you haven't ordered them yet. I can make you a deal on them.

You guys are complicating yourself. if you have a air hammer, just chisel it out and use a flat bit and but it back in.(if you have a air hammer) Thats what i do at the shop and hells, its a job that pays 1hr labor and it takes me like 10 minutes for both. Well thats on GM cars.
It sounds complicating. I don't have a garage with massive tools or pieces of steel. I know you guys are trying to help and I appreciate it a lot. This whole thing with the bushings are driving me insane and I need to know what's the best way for me to do this. Would it be better to take out the arms myself and take them to a shop and have them replace the bushings or do I do the whole job myself and how?

1 hour thats it???
my job pays 2.5 hours for both sides and with a special tool only 3 people have, it take 15 minutes. I am lucky to have the tool.

in a time like this, it pays to have friends.. not only to help uninstall it, but to drive u to the shop when your car is jacked up. =)
I actually never though about taking the part i needed to the shop to have them do it instead of the entire thing.. man I feel soo stupid- better now instead of later, for once procrastonating (ahh.. i'll spell check it later) has paid off =)

on mercedes benz you have lower control arms and guide arms. lower control arms pay about 2 hours to replace considering its 2 bolts to remove and knock the arm out. takes 10 minutes. guide arms however you can replace the bushings seperatley. warranty pays to remove the strut and pull the arms out and press in new bushings and what not. but if you have a tool, you can do it on the car.
