Front Bumper Cover Question 02 & 04 Civic
I hate the oem bumper cover on my 02 civic, and have not see nany aftermarket covers that interest me so I pose the following question...
Will a 04 civic bumper cover fit on an 02 civic?
The 04 bumper cove is much nicer than the 02, the 02 is ruined imo because of the license plate extruded area. I was just going to put a lip on but that does not solve my issue, and the body kits I see are a little to ricey to me (no offense).
Thnx!

shave the license plate holder and get a lip kit. I don't know if the 04 bumper cover fits, but if it does, it would require more work than just shaving the plate holder.
The 01-03 have different headlights than 04-05, so the bumper cover is cut different.

why dont you get it shaved off like i did and put a lip on it
Thanks for the Info, I did not think the plate area could be shaved off. It looks likes it is extruded/molded and did not look like it was thick enough to be shaved off level.
I had thought about shaving it, but was afraid if I did then I would end up with a hole in the center because the plastic might not be thick enough.

Shaving it off is not the route I will go. I dunno what plan of action I will follow but shaving off and catfish front ends are not in the mix!
I had seen rsx conversions but could not find one for the 7th gen civics, that was even a consideration.

Yeah I noticed the hybrid would fit and so would the Acura EL (with additional mods). As to shaving... I would rather not risk the wavy/bad lines that can occur when digging into reshaping plastic.
