ya good luck driving, you'll have very little power above 3k rpms. its gonna be limping. you need either the vafcII tuned on the dyno to supply more fuel with vtec, or you need the si ecu. and if you choose the vafc route, you need to run the solenoid wire to the unit because its not in the ecu harness.

awesome

heres the story

i hydrolocked the **** outta it :-(
flooded streets when we had a flash flud and i was unaware of that.
SO the engines ****ed. insurance is paying for a new head if that ends up being the cause. will find out tomorow afternoon. new dx head is 2000 new si i was told is 2400. so im HOPING that it has a solenoid. are they togethor or can one be bought without the other? heh

this is why im trying to figure this all out if I can get away with a brand new upgrade to an si for about 400 honda said theyd even install it! then i damnw ell will

moving to ontario july 15th should have lotsa shops and ability to install and tune a vafc2 which i wouldnt be able to do here.

you can buy a solenoid, but really there should be one, or you need to buy it. the engine wont run without it unless you wanna shoot oil everywhere chances are you will need to buy it along with the gasket.
