Anyone with Tsunami front bumper
Anyone with Tsunami front bumper
I was thinkn about washing my car today but decided agianst it because of the 40+mph winds at my house. Anyway I got to lookn at my bumper and noticed the grill piece that covers the washer fluid tank(i think thats what it is) is all bent up because the damn thing presses right up against it. Anyone else have this problem or been able to relocate it?
hey man, i have the tsunami bumper. i had the same problem, but i noticed it in the process of installing it. it will fit much better if you cut off the little plastic piece that holds the wire or tube or whatever the hell that thing is. its still a close fit but it still helps a hell of a lot. just let the tube dangle. i havent had any problems with it yet. i have had it fir like 3 months now. good luck, i hope this helps.

Yep, that's what I did too. I'll be installing air horns later, so I'll be mounting the wire with zip ties to the frame in a different way than stock anyway. For right now it just hangs and it's not a problem. If you don't want to cut that little piece off, then you could cut off some of the tsunami in back. You know, the plane that holds the grill, move that plane further to the front by basically cutting like a half an inch off. You'de lose the little tabs for the screws though. I'll need to do this with the front section for my intercooler (I'm planning on getting a turbo in the future).
