Altezza tail light CONDINSATION!!

sup guys...

i just got a new Altezza carbon fibre tail light, and after a week of driving i noticed condinsation forming inside the housing. Is this a defect on the lights or is it normal?? how can i prevent it from forming again??

thanks...

youll have to get the water vapor out of the light then seal it with clear kitchen and bath silicone

First off, you should have just kept your factory tail lights in (just MO) But you'll need to take the light out and put a beed of silicon around the light where the two peices(the outside and inside part of the light) are connected with eachother. My friend had the same problem and that seemed to fix it.

that happened to me too man..i have still yet to fix the problem..
i'm beginning to think these lights are pretty much junk...
if you seal it up with silicone that's not gonna help because the water vapour is just getting sealed in there...i htink anyways...correct me if i'm wrong..

i think if u use a blowdryer to get the water out that would work
if not, bring the lights back for a new fresh pair, and before putting them on, seal them

civic2k2lx is right. if you use a hair dryer on the outside of the lights it will evaporate the condensation on the inside. I am not sure if you are familiar with rain-x anti fog. This works very well for me on the inside of my car. I replaced my factory tails also, and before I had any condensation build up I took that rainx solution and diluted it wil like 3 parts water one part solution (roughly 3 shots of H2O and one shot or rainx)
and used a spray bottle and sprayed that inside the teeza...I then used a hair dryer and dried all of the water up...hence no condensation inside. Oh dont keep the dryer on very long b/c you will heat up the factory sealant on the teezas and that may cause condensation quicker....good luck

I havent gotten any condensation yet, the best idea is to seal around the light and trun with Silicon, it works really well.
