Rep Power: 0 Customizing my 2k2 civic!
I'm getting my 2k2 civic LX coupe (silver) in less than a week. I was wondering if any of you had some ideas of what i should do first, in terms of customizing it. Nothing too expensive though. Things like: tinting it out, Altezza tail-lights, crome wipers, etc... Any suggestions?

Rep Power: 0 well it all depends on what you want to do... if you want performance, go for the basic bolt-ons first... but i guess if your short on money, you can do some DIY's, thats what i did for awhile when i first got my car and had no money... but if you wanna make your car nice, then it all depends on personal taste... and if you wanna catch some nice tunes you can get yourself a better sound system too... but the first basic thing for looks you can clear your headlights... then go from there..

Rep Power: 0 Do lots of research (web sites, books, magazines, ask around, etc.). After becoming familiar with your options, you can make more informed decisions when it comes purchasing parts (performance, entertainment, aesthetics, etc.) and modifying your vehicle. Patience is definitely a virtue, and can help keep mistakes (and therefore regrets) to a minimum. In fact, it would be an excellent idea to decide what you want to do with your car....before you decide which car you are going to get (ex, lx, dx, or hx). This is mainly b/c performance parts (finding them and installing them) will be much easier for you if you go with the EX........if fuel efficiency is your hang-up, go for the HX....and so on. Good luck!

Rep Power: 0 Yeah Maximus has a good point there, do some research first and then go from there. If you need to save up your money too, so you can buy quality parts, you will be thankful you did.... Besides Rome wasnt built in a day, so your car shouldnt either.

Rep Power: 0 Clear your headlights, get nice blue bulbs. New HU (do not get any audio options from honda. way overpriced. If you have a choice, buy aftermarket.), CAI, Subs (try and find em cheap, my subs and amp cost $166 total, including box). Headers and Exhaust. those are all in the order that I'd do em in, but your not me, it's your car, not mine . Also, Get bling blings (17s), and a Kit when you have the extra money (those are expensive all show and no go mods)
