DX have the same power as LX, and DX are Lighter, which means better acceleration.
Hey, yositoco I'm still waiting to see your ride...

the previous statement is somewhat true.. dx does not have a/c which is notorious for being a power drainer.

my b/f has a 92 DX and switched his guage cluster w/ an si cluster, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the same for your's.

For you people wanting to install an aftermarket tach in your car!!! I'm not sure about whether or not the dash cluster on the DX has the needed wire or not, I Have an EX. Someone was wanting to know about hook up an aftermarket tach and still use the original? There is an additional tach sensor by your battery. It a little plug mounted right next to your battery. Its for techs to use to cheack the actual RPM's. You will have to run taht wire through your firewall to your dash, but that is a seperate wire for your tach that will not interfere with your stock tach!!

Calm down

As for our civics, I couldn't tell you whether or not it will plug right in, or if you'd have wire it for the tach sensor.

Calm down??? You lost me on that one. I was simply explaining how people hook up a tach. Regardless of trim level, everyone has the tack wire by the battery.

hey Im at the final point of doing the swap because There is a tach wire inside our cluster connectors. Its a blue wire on pin 13. I even spent all day yesterday reading my honda service manuel and going through the cluster wires and they all check out fine =0 the only problem now is what cluster do we buy for our dx's . There are two different cluster one is made by NS and the other is made by Visteon on this link
link
So im stuck till I can find this part out. I will let you guys know through as soon as I get it working =)

I called a place here in my town that will fix guage clusters and they said that they could program the new milage for around 100 bucks.
