So the throttle body heater is actually set to keep a constant 60 Degrees flowing into the throttle body?

So by how many degrees will the throttle body coolant mechanical bypass lower the intake tempretures on average? It must by tiny?

ok I started out 2k2 EX sedan auto tranny

AEM intake, and Exhaust.. few other things
Dynoed 90hp 88ftlb torque

now
TSI Turbo kit @ 15psi
200hp 160ftlb torque on the dyno

now that was a one time run.. normally its at 12psi or lower

the only real way for power on a d17a2 is boost or nx

First off, nos will only give you the extra power when you press a button, and boost only gives you so much power at certain RPM's. N/A is boost throughout the powerband. I know that turbo's can be tuned, but to the extent of N/A upgrades takes thousands and thousands of dollars that only a grand in N/A would need, granted it's alot of overhaul time for N/A.
So, that isn't necessarily true. There alot of things you can do that would bring up hp and torque N/A that would wouldn't put stress on a motor like a supercharger does. Y8 conversion, motor balancing, p&p, I know there are alot more, but I can't think of them right now... I saw this in someones signature, not sure who's it was:

Power is not bought, it's built.

Just a note: I got nuttin against turbo, but I'm a firm believer that before someone goes turbo they should build up the motor first. When they reach the max, then bolt on the kit and grow from there.

Also, the throttle body coolant bypass is a must for DIYers... $3 in tubing and hose clamps gives the power of a $100+ cai, at least it feels like it.

i want mods to get the max power possible on a d17a2... not to go faster... btw one thing takes u to the other.... but not by the same method...
well hit me some models or brands...
i was thinkin in this

PnP head
TCI MASTER RACING overhaul kit (auto tranny)

modded torque converter (maybe one from level 10)

valves (wich one's better? standar ones or 0.5mm oversize??)

pistons(KMS fogged ones)

rings and gaps(dont know who make somes)
rods

valve guide seals

titanium valve spring retainers

block guard

throttle boddy

an Intake Manifold (who makes one? or i have to go custom?)

some pics are random choice
hit me another brands or models that u know, i know that im gonna spend like 2 - 3 grands... but i think that its gonna be

Probably Y8 manifold... seems to be the popular choice. But I'm really interested in this too cause I plan on doin the same **** in a couple years around my timing belt. Also, they make a mild cam for our motor now, might want to think about that since you're doing the valves.
