^^ that would be my guess too, i had that same problem awhile back. my throttle body was not making a good seal connecting to my intake manifold causes it to idle up and down. i heard if you spray something like carbeurator(sp) cleaner near where you think its leaking,the engine will rev up a higher. thats just to help locate the leak. any decent shop will be able to tell you where the problem is.

It is a vacume leak or the T/B sticking. Spray wd40 on everything and listen for the leak..

its probably the idle air control valve if theres no check engine light. Take it off and clean it out with carb cleaner and see if the problem goes away.
