Ok, I have an AEM CAI on my 04. The filter is incredibly dirty! I recently purchased an AEM filter from a website that is an exact duplicate of the original filter that came with the intake. I paid 30.00 for this filter (outrageous). While awaiting arrival of the new filter, I found an ebay filter for something around 10.00...one of the filters that comes with the ebay intakes. Now I am wondering from anyone that might have an idea....
The quality appears to be the same on both filters...should I not trust the ebay filter and stay with the AEM or is quality about the same....the reason I really asked this question is because IF the quality is identical why charge 30.00 for an intake filter that you can buy for 10.00...? yea, i seriuosliy doubt that ebays quality would be the same as aem's quality. If your lookin for a good filter get a K&N.
