Removing air cleaning box above throttlebody-No Bolts, just a round Clamp
Removing air cleaning box above throttlebody-No Bolts, just a round Clamp
Hello
I know this has been posted a ocuple of times, but I am having trouble finding the right manual or instructions. I need to clean the throttlebody and IAC, but to get to those I first need to remove the air cleaning box sitting on the throttlebody. However, after removing the clamp to remove the top of the box, remoing the air intake hose, and removing the filter, I noticed that the Bottom of the box is connected to the throttlebody with a metal round clamp, which I cant seem to remove.![Click image for larger version

It must have spun around so you do not see the probably 10mm socket head bolt. it's like a hose clamp. Fill under and around it and find the head. Then use a screwdriver socket driver on it.

You can see the screw adjuster on the left side of the pic. You will have to reach it from the back of the TB.
