cluster swap question
I have an 04 VP (no tach), If I bought a cluster off of Ebay w/ a tach would it be a simple intall, or is there no tach signal coming to the stock cluster on my car (necessitating getting it from the glovebox).
I have the same car......you will need a 2001-2002 ex cluster. THey are about 80 on ebay. You undo a few bolts on the cluster pull it and put the new in. THe 04 vp has the same wiring as the 01-02 ex clusters. I hope this helps you. I can give you some pics how mine turned out if you want....

Make sure you only get an 01-02 cluster. Very important. Make sure the mileage is close to yours also.
