RSX dash
RSX dash
Alright my pedal idea got shot down, so here I go again. I just got the new honda tuning magazine in and I was looking at it. There is a article in there named convert!, its a 92 civic hatch. Alright the guy went to a junkyard bought a rsx dash, the whole thing, gauge cluster, air controls everything the whole dash. Then he swapped it into his 92 hatch, would it be possible for us to do this with our civics????????
What would it take to do this?????

anything is possible with the right amount of time, money and skillz. I'm almost positive I have seen someone with a 7th gen with an RSX dash in it. But someone was able to hook up a RSX cluster into the 7th gen civic, there's not reason why you couldn't do the whole dash. may have to cut/trim or fabricate mounts.
To give you two answers:
Yes, it can be done
No, it's not a plug and play swap.

Ive put itr pedal in out cars already and figured out the cluster conversion wiring.THat dash idea has been in my mind for a while now. but like PrecisnTec said it takes money. i had the rsx cluster laying around and was able to fool around with it and got it to work.my friend had the pedals adn wanted them in his car so i go them in. they. were a little more tricky but got done. i know if i had a dash laying around i could get that goin to.
Yeah but there pedals look just like ours. I just think it would look awesome to have that dash in our cars. The wiring would be unreal though. Isnt it illegal to just hook up the cluster to ours since the mileage on the motor and stuff?
I need TP for my bunghole

I questioned this to my self as well.
But I have no friends with a rsx so I cannot take measurements
But it would be cool

I'm not digging it... that 8?' hatch replaced his dash cuase most likely his dash looked like poop in the 8?' hatch. Now it looks like a nice dash with poop edges. Plus this modification is going to take a WHOLE LOT more fabrication (and visible fabracation) than your idea of putting in the Lotus Pedals.
