VAFC II Tunned people

Ok i have a 2002 EX with AEM V2 intake Skunk2 Exhaust HP headers and hi flow cat. I was wondering when you got your car tunned when you step on it is it supposted to be in ideal or lean or rich ? Before my car ran at rich so i set it up so it would run ideal and after 6 grand it starts going rich untill i switch gears. And when your just driving normal whats the a/f supposted to be at ? When my car ideals it sits at rich and doesn't move but i don't know if thats because i have no back pressure.

Thanks for your help guys.

It should be closer to the ideal fuel ratio 14.7 I believe. Mine was a flat line around 14 when they were done. Before it's usually curvy. Ideal means you're getting the proper mixture or air and fuel, which the engine works best at. It all depends. Some people have subtracted fuel to reach the ratio, while others have added fuel. In each case, you will gain a few hp.

If you have an a/f gauge, those are innaccurate. You need a wideband o2 to actually see the effect. And this is all wide tuning btw. Narrow throttle doesn't matter much. Here read my dyno if you still don't understand. I have settings posted as well.
