I just noticed it blinking at me when I first start my car today. I am pretty sure I have seen this somewhere on this website too but a while ago. Anyways I was racing and once I hit a little under 100 mph it was cutting out. it usually cuts out at 120 mph and I think that that I have seen people talk about how it cuts out earlier when that light comes on. I just wanted to make sure that was true. Also that light doesn't blink because struts are bad do they? Thats only thing I can think of that is wrong with my car because I hardly ever beat it my car but I am gonna go to honda tommorrow and see whats up. Thanks

If the check engine light is on, something is seriously wrong with the car. You can go to an auto parts store and have them plug in a scanner to see what code set it off. It's usually free so at least you know what the problem is. Honda may charge you for that.

Is it the Check engine light or the "maint. reqd." light? If it's check engine, gearbox is right, go to autozone and they give you a scanner to check probs (have to give them your d/l and a credit card so you don't run off with the thing)

If it's the maint reqd light, it automagically comes on every 7500 miles so you can take it to the stealership and have them reset it for $30 bucks or whatever their fee is. to reset it yourself:

Turn key to KOEO ( #II, Key on like normal driving, but engine off). press and hold the tripometer reset **** until the lite goes off / stops blinking.
