K&N FIPK vs K&N Typhoon

Hey guys i was wondering, I see all of you say how wonderful the FIPK is but i really havent seen too much about the typhoon. What system is better?

FIPK is better performance because the pipe is plastic and wont heat up as much, plus its cheaper. The typhoon is more expensive, looks alot nicer but they are aluminum. BUT, the Typhoon also comes as a Cold air intake too

i saw on a link from the k&n site for a dealer and the fipk was like 2 bucks more lol. ya the plastic makes a big diff huh, but does the cai one make up for that?
