How'd everyone make out with the trans issue? I got a recall notice for my head lights and Im going to try to tell them to replace the synchros in my MT even though they are perfectly fine.
Hey since were on the subject anyone have probs with 2k3 M/T
cuz i barely misshifted in 3rd and now when shifting from 2nd to 3rd.
i hear not so good grinding sound if trying to shift right away but if i let it rev down its ok. think its the synchro or what and do you think they will bitch if i take in with my V2 intake?Think its covered.

Dober, where did you get the TSB? The NHST ones don't seem to work...My warranty is almost up (if not already) soon....

That's exactly what happened to mine...They assumed I raced because I had an intake, exhaust, and tach...If you have the time i'd take it out because they'll try to use every excuse not to fix it, even though it should be covered...at least where I went
Speed I found on Edmunds TSB bulletin that our problem exists
$ th from top on our list, so if you have any probs give them the # of TSB

[QUOTE]so ...... is it an "normal" sign or a bad sign?[/QUOTE
Ummmmm definately not right. Its normal for 2001's but they shouldn't have that feeling at all. Shifting 2/3 3/4 is really smooth on mine, but 1/2 is sloppy as hell.

That's exactly what mine does. BTW I got my tranny in from Ohio it looks like it is in great shape. It's a 2002 with only 11k miles.

My tranny is fubar, and I'm contacting Honda CEO's directly about it. I'll update if anything comes to light about it.
If nothing else, looks like I'll be doing it myself since I'm a broke *** college student.
