How'd everyone make out with the trans issue? I got a recall notice for my head lights and Im going to try to tell them to replace the synchros in my MT even though they are perfectly fine.

That's exactly what happened to mine...They assumed I raced because I had an intake, exhaust, and tach...If you have the time i'd take it out because they'll try to use every excuse not to fix it, even though it should be covered...at least where I went

Its sloppy engagement. Mine does that sometimes and its not my technique or clutch. Its the synchros in that gearset.

Ummmmm definately not right. Its normal for 2001's but they shouldn't have that feeling at all. Shifting 2/3 3/4 is really smooth on mine, but 1/2 is sloppy as hell.

That's exactly what mine does. BTW I got my tranny in from Ohio it looks like it is in great shape. It's a 2002 with only 11k miles.

My tranny is fubar, and I'm contacting Honda CEO's directly about it. I'll update if anything comes to light about it.

If nothing else, looks like I'll be doing it myself since I'm a broke *** college student.
