Yes, it is 1.5&quot;

They say (Sport Compact Car Nov issue) the pipe diameter should follow this guideline.

1500-2000 cc engines ..... 2&quot;
2100-2500 cc engines ..... 2.25&quot;
2600-3000 cc engines ..... 2.5&quot;

Add 1/2&quot; for nitrous oxide
Turbo motors - min. 2.5&quot; ... upto 2000 cc
Engines bigger then 2000 cc ... 3&quot;

I don't understand, why if it is so small, we get no improvement or little with a bigger pipe. And don't some of the muffler manufactures say that you should just replace the muffler because they saw no improvement with full exhaust. It doesn't seem logical to me. I would think we would see a big improvement replacing that little pipe with a big one. But everyone on this site says NO.
