Need some quick help with cooling system

Ok. I need to take off the upper radiator hose to put something in. It needs to come off for about 2 minutes, but obviously the system is going to have some pressure in it. So that I don't get an antifreeze shower, how do you de-pressurize it without draining the coolant? I know I'll lose whats in the hose when I take it off, and probably a little more, but I'll just top it back off. I just don't want to deal with draining out the whole radiator to do this... I don't think I have to. Help? Anyone?

why woulkd u need to depressurize it/ just wait till ur car sits a while, i had to take off my upper radiator hose to put that braided hose over itand it just leaked a drop from what was in the tube.
